Backwoods Adventurers

Spend a week exploring the beautiful hiking trails and waterways of Vermont, gaining confidence in backwoods adventuring. We will hike to mountain vistas and splash through rivers and waterfalls. We’ll hone our wilderness survival skills, learning to set up tarps, cook over a fire and navigate using map and compass. This camp is designed for campers who are excited about an active camp day, hiking around 1-3 miles most days. Our week will culminate in a hike to the summit of one of Vermont's tall peaks. 

This camp travels to different sites around Vermont each day using NBNC's 15 passenger van.
